Tutor, BA History of Art, History of Art 2 survey course, Department of Art History, Edinburgh College of Art, The University of Edinburgh (2023-present) and (2018-2019)

I have been tutoring on this undergraduate survey course for a number of years now. My role involves leading weekly tutorials, marking essays and exam submissions, and offering individual support to 27 students.

Since 2019 I have delivered an annual guest lecture and seminar on Neo-Geo abstraction and the postmodernist turn in New York art as part of the third-year Art History option module ‘Bad Painting’. After my lecture and seminar I give written feedback on the work of students.

In February 2024 I wrote and delivered a new lecture on alternative art spaces since the 1970s for the postgraduate course ‘The Cultures and Politics of Display’.

In November 2016, together with artists Hannah Black, Vaginal Davis and James Richards, I led a two-day workshop with MA Fine Art students as part of ‘Private Affairs’, the ZHDk Annual Symposium. I also conducted a talk with Hannah Black at Raumstation, Zurich, as part of the symposium.

In May 2016, I conducted crits with 10 students on the Mlitt Curatorial Practice course at GSA ahead of their final degree show.

In Feb 2015, I was invited to conduct crits with 6 students on MFA Fine Art course at Goldsmiths

Tutor, MA Sculpture, Royal College of Art (2014-15)

Over the course of the 2014-15 academic year, I was a tutor in the MA Sculpture department at the RCA. I followed the development of 10 students over the course of the year, supporting them towards their final degree shows.

In April 2013, I led a seminar with students on the RCA’s MA Critical Writing in Art and Design.

In October 2012, I gave a talk about my curatorial practice to students studying on the MFA curating students at Goldsmiths
